There is a new device on the market which has a lot of functionalities that motorcycle enthusiasts will love. This is basically a walkie talkie with Bluetooth which can double as a radio and you can make phone calls using it. Sounds a little complicated, doesn’t it? Let’s break it down.
The system is made out of a remote looking device which also holds the antenna for the walkie talkie and FM radio. This piece you can mount on your bike without any concerns because it’s light (about the size of a smartphone) and waterproof so it will not hinder your ride. The package also comes with a system of headphones and a microphone that can be mounted inside the helmet.
So what’s so cool about it? Well for starters you can use it as a walkie talkie and connect with up to six of your friends (using the same system). The range of this device is 1300 yards, that is of course in a no barrier environment. In the city it might be limited, however you won’t put that big of a distance between you and your friends. It also works above 75 mph speeds, which is great for those open road rides.
Besides being a walkie talkie and having FM radio capability it can also connect to your phone via Bluetooth so you can answer those really important calls. The complete package comes with electronics (device, headphones and mic, power plug adapter, USB cable) and with fastening system.
